Naruto is officially back — just maybe not in the way a lot of fans expected. Called Naruto: Ninjas Assemble, fans can return to Konohagakure, the Hidden Leaf Village, and see some fan-favorite characters too. The long-running anime/manga franchise has still been releasing content, including video games, so it's not completely a surprise to see Naruto and company returning to gaming this year. What is perhaps surprising, however, is that Naruto: Ninjas Assemble is a new themed mode for PUBG Mobile.

Pokémon has officially and unexpectedly announced a brand-new game that'll be releasing later this year. While details are a bit scarce, the new Pokémon game will be based around Team Rocket, the iconic villains from the Gen 1 games and anime. It looks like players will join Team Rocket's ranks and attempt to rise through the organization's ranks. The announcement was officially revealed over on X, and then shared by numerous fan accounts and leakers. Details are pretty hush-hush at the moment.

There's probably quite a bit of crossover in fandoms for Dungeons & Dragons and The Legend Of Zelda. Both have sword and sorcery elements in a fantasy world, and both include stories of heroics and dungeon exploration. Whether you're a fan of both franchises or just one, there's an ideal new RPG that's perfect for anyone looking to blend D&D with Zelda. 2026 has already been a big year for both franchises.
