1 INTRODUCTION Melanoma is a major global health issue. It rises from melanocytes found in the epidermis, initially appearing as irregularly shaped moles; chronic inflammatory conditions commonly precipitate its onset, hereditary factors, and prolonged exposure to hazardous environments such as ultraviolet (UV) radiation (Lorentzen, 2019; Pezzolo & Naldi, 2020; Ransohoff et al., 2016).
