Abstract Brain abnormalities related to childhood adversity (CA) have been reported across clinical presentations in psychotic disorder (PD) and bipolar disorder (BD). This systematic review and meta-analysis examined gray matter volume (GMV) alterations linked to CA in PD and BD. A PRISMA-compliant systematic review was conducted (PROSPERO ID: CRD42022351133).
