LYNCHBURG, Va. – Ivy Garner's three goals plus Presley Kaiser's first career goal pushed Liberty (5-2-2) to a 4-0 triumph at home over UNCG (1-7). Garner secures her first career hat trick and moves into a tie for second in program history for most goals in a career (24) with Gabrielle Farrell (2016-19) and Amy Oberlin (2005-08). Ivy Garner opened the game in the 20' minute following a cross from Carly Keene that ended up at the forward's feet.

Engle’s Score Pushes Liberty Past Charlotte 1-0

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Halle Engle's first goal of the season lifts Liberty (2-0-1) over Charlotte (2-1) 1-0 on the road Thursday evening. After playing a scoreless first half, Engle headed a cross from Avenley Monteith to secure the contest's lone tally. Liberty dominated the pace of the first half but was unable to find the back of the net. Liberty was not shy of chances in the first 45, including a chance that was broken up in front of Avery Paulson.
