1 Introduction Two-dimensional (2D) transition metal dichalcogenides (TMDs) have attracted significant attention because of their strong Coulomb interactions, direct electronic bandgaps in the monolayer limit, and pronounced excitonic effects [1-5]. When different TMD monolayers are vertically stacked, they form van der Waals heterostructures (VdWHSs) that can host interlayer excitons (IX), where electron–hole pairs are spatially separated across adjacent monolayers.

Abstract The scalable integration of solid-state quantum emitters into photonic nanostructures remains a central challenge for quantum photonic technologies. Here, we demonstrate a robust and streamlined integration strategy that tackles the long-standing issue of deterministic fabrication on randomly positioned self-assembled quantum dots (QDs), leveraging a buried-stressor-based site-controlled InGaAs QD platform.
