Siempre que tengo que hablar o escribir sobre un souls-like, pienso en cómo llegamos hasta acá. En 2009, la empresa FromSoftware lanzaba al mercado un título llamado Demon’s Souls, una obra que en ese entonces tratábamos como un “Diablo 3D” por su exploración de niveles, combate en tiempo real y el uso de recursos e ítems. Es un juego que básicamente se volvió de culto, un favorito personal y un impulsor de un género que se sigue imitando y adaptando hasta hoy.
