What was your first job as a journalist?

I started sending in poems to the local dailies when I was 12!

Have you ever used a typewriter?

Yes, my father taught me to type on an old school typewriter!

How is social media changing news?

Taking away both its credibility and formality

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

I contributed a poem on day dreaming to our high school magazine, Margallah

What story are you most proud of writing or working on?

The Purple Rainbow, a fictional account of a blind girl

What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?

Read, read , read
