Introduction The saprotrophic, lepiotaceous genus Leucocoprinus (Pat.) is widespread in tropical and subtropical areas, as well as on organic materials in potting soils and greenhouses (Vellinga 2001a, 2004, Birkebak 2010, Kumaresan et al. 2011, El-Fallal et al. 2019, Justo et al. 2021).
