Start of the window there were 4 viable replacements in Tonali-Anderson-Tchouameni and Bruno G. All of them are off the table at this point in time and we have two Brazilian reserve players. Forgive me if I’m underwhelmed from this window and ik everyone thinks the transfer window is some moneyball simulator but this was the moment to bridge the gap to city and arsenal and instead we’ve signed two players who would’ve probably signed for palace or Fulham.

Many United fans are criticizing the Santos transfer. Chelsea supporters, for the most part, are disappointed that he has left. Some Chelsea fans have come into our comments and already seem frustrated. And it’s understandable where that frustration comes from. People were expecting big names, and so far the transfer window has felt underwhelming. But we need to separate expectations from the player himself. There is no real reason to criticize Santos.
