Highlights • Buzzy® method is more effective on the reducing venous blood collection pain and fear than the control and DistrACTION® Cards. • Non-pharmacological methods such as Buzzy® and DistrACTION® Cards methods can be safely used for venipuncture pain and fear management in children 6–12 years of age. Abstract The aim of this study was to compare the effectiveness of Buzzy® and DistrACTION® Cards in reducing children's pain and fear while taking venous blood samples.
