This is a pediatric case series of patients suffering from multifocal or generalized drug-resistant epilepsy treated with centromedian RNS. All 13 patients underwent MP2RAGE-based direct targeting of the centromedian nucleus using real-time navigation (ClearPoint). 83.3% of patients with extra-temporal multifocal or generalized drug-resistant epilepsy were found to have over 50% reduction in seizures (“responders”). The average seizure reduction rate of the responders was 80.4%.
