Background and Objectives: School bags are an essential part of daily school life; however,carrying excessive loads may influence gait parameters and contribute to musculoskeletalstrain in children. Step length is an important spatiotemporal parameter of gait that reflectswalking efficiency and stability. This study aimed to investigate the effect of school bagweight on step length in children aged 11–15 years.Methodology: A comparative study was conducted among 80 school children aged 11–15years.
