The leasing deal in which Fiverr (NYSE: FVRR) was to move to the Wix (Nasdaq: WIX) campus in Glilot has been canceled, "Globes" has learned. This brings the curtain down on one of the prominent office real estate deals for the Wix campus, after it was first revealed in "Globes" last year that Fiverr was in talks to lease space there. According to the original plan, Fiverr was supposed to lease about 4,500 square meters on the Wix campus, with an option for expansion in the future.

Over a year has passed since the release of the interim report of the "Arbitrage Committee", which was set up by then director general of the Ministry of Finance Shlomi Heisler to formulate a comprehensive reform of the savings sector. The focus was consolidation of several financial products on one platform enabling comparison of the tax benefits of each: investment provident funds, savings policies, and mutual funds.

The shekel-dollar exchange rate, which only a month ago fell to NIS 2.80/$, has risen 7% in recent weeks and is approaching NIS 3/$, although this is still low by historic standards at a level not seen since the 1990s. Some believe that the pressure on the local shekel will continue, and that the dollar will continue to strengthen against the Israeli currency.
