It’s September, the leaves are already blazing with colour thanks to a summer drought, and the days are growing shorter. The back-to-school crowds have cleared out, leaving Prince Edward County at its absolute best. Fall is a beautiful time of year to visit P.E.C.'s wineries, but outside of the region's main draw, there are so many other things to see, taste and do in The County.

Fans of Craig Wong's Jamaican-Caribbean spot Patois will already be familiar with the iconic establishment at 794 Dundas Street West, which has been around since 2014, minus a year-long hiatus while they dealt with the aftereffects of a fire in 2017. Ayla Upstairs, the new kid on the block (or more accurately, the second floor), looks set to become another Toronto classic. The restaurant was dreamed up by a quartet of culinary Avengers.

Let us set the scene for the three-day wedding affair of Ally Dean Spencer, former Fashion & Beauty Editor at Hello! Canada (and previously Beauty Editor at ELLE Canada), and investment banker Michael Spencer, in the South of France. The couple hosted 60 of their nearest and dearest (yours truly was a bridesmaid) at a 19th-century chateau reserved exclusively for guests in attendance all weekend long.
