The Ross Fire disaster relief effort is being spearheaded by United Way of Palo Pinto County. The nonprofit is in charge of both receiving funds and leading case management efforts for individuals affected by the North Texas fire.

The decision was confirmed by Caroline Samis, chairman of the Tarrant nonprofit, to the Fort Worth Report Friday afternoon. “We are thankful to Charles for his service to our organization. And we pray for his continued service to God’s kingdom,” Samis said.
