To validate the interactions between TIL-B, tumour cells and CAFs, we conducted ex vivo coculture experiments. Human primary iCCA cells and CAFs isolated from resected tumour specimens (online supplemental figure 6A,B, online supplemental table 6) were cocultured with CD19+CD27−IgD+ naïve B cells FACS-sorted from the PB of HDs (figure 5E). FACS analysis after 6 days of coculture showed a low frequency of switched and unswitched memory B cells, mature naïve B cells and plasmablasts.

Abstract : The liver is the most common metastatic site in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients. Indeed, 25–30% of the cases develop colorectal liver metastasis (CLM), showing an extremely poor 5-year survival rate and resistance to conventional anticancer therapies.
