Abstract Rapid and largely unplanned urbanization has significantly reshaped Dhaka over the past two decades. This transformation has accelerated environmental degradation, reduced green and blue spaces, and undermined urban livability in one of the world's most densely populated megacities. Despite these growing environmental challenges, comprehensive long-term spatial assessments that integrate remote sensing and multi-criteria decision-making approaches remain scarce.

ABSTRACT Introduction Blood-based biomarkers are becoming increasingly utilized in the neurodegenerative research field for indicating patient disease status. With increasing emphasis on large-scale prevention trials, developing cost-effective and accessible means of sampling for these biomarkers is imperative. Micro-sampling, in the form of dried blood spots (DBS), dried plasma spots (DPS), and upper-arm devices (UAD), could be a solution.
