Clinical manifestations of myelofibrosis are heterogeneous and include splenomegaly, constitutional symptoms and cytopenias, including mild, moderate, or severe anemia [2].

Andrew Schorr: Dr. Hillis, I got to put you in the hot seat, first of all, just a Canadian question, someone is an MPN patient in Nova Scotia and said, "Well, we're in Halifax. Can we participate?" Dr. Hillis: Yeah. I don't know if Halifax is a site or not for this particular clinical trial. There are a few MPN-treating physicians who work out of Halifax at the QEII, if that's where they're getting treatment, and if this clinical trial is not available there, another one might be.
