The following is the opinion and analysis of the writer: Instead of bravely leading Arizona into a clean-energy future, on May 8, Governor Hobbs dragged the state back into a pollution-laden past when she put her stamp of approval on the Desert Southwest Pipeline, a methane gas conduit that will stretch more than 500 miles from the Permian Basin through three states — Texas, New Mexico and Arizona — and cost more than $5.6 billion.

No matter our political affiliation, we should all be outraged at the senseless killing of Renee Good in Minneapolis on Jan. 7, which was followed by a torrent of lies from Donald Trump, cosplaying Kristi Noem, and the rest of the spineless sycophants comprising the clown show in the administration. They are responsible for unleashing the unvetted, barely trained, armed goons of ICE hiding behind masks to inflict terror on the population.
