We read with interest the article by Manchec and colleagues (1), which correlated outcomes following catheter-directed thrombolysis of acute submassive pulmonary embolus with the anesthetic agents used for procedural sedation. It is commendable to see a review of cases in this emerging and still high-risk area of hospital practice.
