1 Introduction Carbon fiber-reinforced polymer (CFRP) composites have been extensively adopted in weight-critical structural applications as viable alternatives to conventional metallic systems, owing to their exceptional stiffness-to-weight ratio [1]. Notwithstanding these advantages, their wider implementation remains limited by stringent requirements concerning damage resistance and tolerance.

You are already at the latest version The reuse of recycled carbon fibers (rCF) is a response to growing environmental concerns associated with the composites industry. Recycling and reusing carbon fibers represents a more sustainable alternative by reducing waste at the end of the life cycle of composite materials and decreasing dependency on virgin raw materials.
