Physical activity has positive effects on children’s health and cognitive function. Longitudinal data assessing changes in cognitive function, physical fitness and physical activity in primary school children following school-based interventions are scarce. This study demonstrated improvements in cognitive function, physical fitness and physical activity in primary school children using a school-based intervention.

Typically the month of December is a busy month when people purchase gifts for loved ones, getting ready for holiday parties, and some people enjoy decorating the inside and outside of their homes. The first week of December was a busy week for our garden club members. Members assembled decorations inside the Vanderveer house to place in some buildings located at East Jersey Old Town Village in Piscataway.

Are you a person that always has looked forward to the fall months? It's a time when we see the beauty of nature as the leaves began to turn colors. Fall can be a good season to look forward to reflecting on some enjoyable simple things life has to offer. Coming in from outdoors, whether it’s raking some leaves or coming home after a day out having fun with a favorite activity or taking sips of warm cider, I find it all invigorating and relaxing at the same time.
