A new electromagnetic method for analyzing urban road dust
Abstract Road dust is a key urban pollutant and indicator of environmental contamination from traffic and industry. Conventional analysis methods are often slow, expensive, and require complex preparation. This study presents a novel electromagnetic method using electrical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) for road dust analysis. The technique leverages the eddy current effect with a specialized measuring coil to determine impedance components from sealed dust samples.
