3.3. Electrochemical Measurements The protective capability of corrosion products on the copper was analyzed by plotting the respective anodic curves in a 0.1 M Na2SO4 solution for unexposed and environmentally exposed probes (back and front sides) after one and three years. Figure 11 shows a general increase in corrosion potential and a decrease in active and passive dissolution zone current density as a function of exposure time.
