1 Introduction The purpose of this workshop was to review the landscape of nonhuman primate (NHP) research in HIV prevention and treatment, to discuss how juvenile NHP models have historically been used to support this research, and to identify ways to refine these models and address key gaps so that they can better support development and advancement of pediatric drug formulations.
