1 INTRODUCTION Semen doses for artificial insemination are usually evaluated based on semen volume, concentration, and motility (Rodriguez-Martinez, 2013). However, one of the most essential sperm attributes, sperm morphology is not always examined routinely, although several studies demonstrated a significant relationship between morphology and fertility (Al-Makhzoomi et al., 2008; Love, 2011; Nagy et al., 2013).
