Hey all! Does anyone have any experience with a Joint Development Agreement in land development? Say I had entitled, ready to build land - what would a JDA with a developer look like? More specifically, if I put my land in a deal, can I receive a portion of the final product to keep long term? This seems like an effective way to obtain cash-flowing new construction. Landowners, developers, and builders feel free to chime in. Any thoughts/ideas are greatly appreciated, thanks!

Good morning, Florida Architect and land developer here. Sounds like you have a fun little project. Most of the time in Florida (depending on location) geotech reports are not done for single or two story buildings. Most residential construction (in Florida) is done with slab on grade or a stem wall system. That being said I agree with Nicola, reach out to the owner of the other duplexes and see if they have any reports available, it never hurts to ask.
