1 Introduction It is estimated that sheep were domesticated earlier than other ruminant animals. Initially spreading to specific regions of Central and South Asia and Southern Europe, these animals were later domesticated in advanced civilizations such as Iran, Greece, Rome and Egypt, where they were utilized for various products (Ezzatpoor 2004). Numerous sheep breeds are raised worldwide.

Abstract This retrospective study evaluated the relationship between pulp volume (PV) and pulp/tooth volume ratio (PTVR) derived from CBCT images of permanent mandibular central incisors for age estimation in 106 children and adolescents aged 8–17.1 years (mean age 12.14 ± 2.24). Three-dimensional segmentation was performed using 3D Slicer to calculate volumetric parameters, followed by sex-stratified correlation and linear regression analyses.
