Integrated soil and foliar zinc fertilization in fodder oats: effects on yield, Zn biofortification, profitability and energetics
Abstract Zinc (Zn) deficiency in fodder crops affects livestock nutrition and agricultural sustainability. Soil and foliar fertilization can enhance crude protein and Zn content in fodder oats, alleviating malnutrition in animals. This study investigated Zn biofortification effects on yield, profitability, and energy use indices rather than focusing solely on yield and Zn content.
