Sounds like you're considering selling cash flowing assets to 1. pay off debt (at historically low current interest rates) and 2. fund a more expensive lifestyle. Given your long term goal of increasing cash flow this doesn't sound wise. HELOC, REFI, or just hold and keep a tighter handle on your finances so your cash flow can fund the next deal. This is all assuming that the current duplexes are good assets, not a hot mess, and from your post it sounds like they are.

To the Editor: Thank you to my supporters and voters for the Kittitas County Sheriff race. I have been very humbled by the great support, fresh ideas and engaging conversations over the past year. Our county residents have been and are very supportive of law enforcement, which I appreciate. Law enforcement is constantly changing to societal needs, county needs, changes in laws and changes in technology.

To the Editor: I am encouraged and overwhelmed with the volume of support I have received since the December announcement of my intent to run for Kittitas County Sheriff. I would like to extend my gratitude to Gene Dana for his years of service as Sheriff of Kittitas County. I would also like to thank him, other local law enforcement personnel and many other members of this county for suggesting and encouraging me to run for the position of Sheriff.
