Preliminary injunctions can be a powerful tool for rights holders, allowing them to quickly minimise the negative impacts of infringement on their business operations. Therefore, it is essential to understand the procedural framework governing such measures in Poland. The following overview summarises the key aspects of applying for a preliminary injunction in intellectual property cases.

Medical product availability and healthcare safety are becoming increasingly important talking points in recent years. This is also reflected in the EU regulations on medical devices – starting from 10 January 2025, new reporting obligations regarding interruptions and discontinuation of supply apply for manufacturers.

Supply shortages of vital medicines and medical devices have the potential to cause otherwise avoidable damage to individuals and even deaths. We can all read stories in the press of patients going from pharmacy to pharmacy to find a supply of their needed pharmaceuticals.
