Abstract: La tesis de este documento es que cuando los derechos de propiedad están clara y plenamente especificados, es imposible que entren en conflicto. Si parece que lo hacen, entonces uno de esos «derechos», o tal vez ambos, es impropio. Por ejemplo, cuando se invocan los llamados «derechos positivos». Sin embargo, hay una excepción a esta regla general: cuando se produce un comportamiento delictivo.

With Joe Biden as president, the days of the national minimum wage at its present $7.25 per hour may soon be gone. It will likely be raised to $15 or more and also indexed for inflation, whether it is stuck into a COVID bill or sent to Congress on its own. But this enactment would be a joblessness bill for “the least, the lost and the last” among us, the very people who suffer the most economic hardship.

In his Wall Street Journal column of Oct. 21, Alan S. Blinder fails economics 101. His essay is titled “The Trump ‘Jobs Boom’ Is a Convenient Myth.” The Princeton economist provides us with a graph of the unemployment rate from November 2010 to February 2020. Why start at that earlier point? Because he wants to show that joblessness has been decreasing for the last ten years, at a rather steady pace, starting in the Obama years, and, at best, Trump has merely continued the pattern.
