Voormalig Feyenoord‑spits Ove Kindvall is op 82‑jarige leeftijd overleden. De Zweed werd een clubicoon toen hij in 1970 de winnende treffer maakte in de Europa Cup I‑finale tegen Celtic, waardoor Feyenoord als eerste Nederlandse club het belangrijkste Europese toernooi won. Ik ging een paar jaar geleden in Stockholm langs bij zoon Niklas en sprak ook met de legende zelf. Koning Arthur, Robin Hood, Willem Tell. Als kleine jongen plaatste ik zijn naam in dit rijtje. Een legende, een mythe.
