EDGEWATER, Colo. – Police on Friday afternoon were still working a standoff situation involving a man who was barricaded inside of a home in Edgewater, and shots have been exchanged between the man and the officers. Officers first responded about 7:30 a.m. to the home in the 2500 block of Fenton, where residents had reported hearing shots fired. Police said a 42-year-old man who lives at the home with his parents was barricaded in the home. His parents ran outside and were OK.
