In 2022, 81,180 new BCa cases and 17,100 BCa deaths are projected to occur in the United States, according to data from the American Cancer Society (1). Approximately 75% of newly diagnosed BCa is non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC), which is defined as tumors confined to the bladder mucosa or submucosa (2).
