Beetroot Falafel

Sujeonggwa (cinnamon punch) is a traditional Korean beverage with a rich cultural heritage. I would always be given sujeonggwa at Grandma’s house, but I didn’t really appreciate the zesty cinnamon bite until I was older. The spice notes make it a very good dessert drink after a heavy meal. You can be flexible with the sweetener: maple syrup or agave syrup are good substitutes for the jocheong (rice syrup).

Last month, I posted a photo on Instagram of my gorgeous pug with the huge Violet Crumble promo pack, and you all went insane for it! “Where did you get this?” was a common question. Two years ago, the Duke of Brunswick team took the incredible step of making their kitchen 100% gluten-free (can I get an A-MEN?!). This is huge for the pub scene – how many times have you settled for a garden salad because you couldn’t be sure the meal you really wanted would actually be gluten-free and that there’d be no risk of cross-contamination?
