Newscasters around the world are livid at yet another Israeli attempt at killing journalists reporting on IDF war crimes. This brings back the memory of Shireen Abu Akleh, and begs the question of why Israel and America gets away with crimes against humanity including genocide, still as members of the United Nations, while breaking most crucial UN Charter rules. Is the United Nations a failed alliance? What or who is protecting humanity?

About the last person anyone should want to be is an Israeli, a Brit or a Yankee. They have no rights and their governments do whatever in hell they want to do. Donald Trump and Benjamin Netanyahu have put an and their perceived claim is that they can kill anyone they wish to kill with total impunity. The idea of a global “rules-based order” is facing increasing challenges and could be nearing its end.

A Convention on the Prevention and Punishment of the Crime of Genocide was agreed by most nations which undertook to prevent and punish the international crime of genocide. Consequently, an arms embargo on Israel is not optional but mandatory. Recently, a UN resolution was adopted by the United Nations Human Rights Council to hold Israel accountable for war crimes and crimes against humanity committed in the Gaza Strip, and requests a ban on all arms sales to the country.
