It's making it more accessible and creating more open source information and misinformation pathways. More audience jobs too.

What does it mean to be a journalist?
Caring so much about everything ever except what people think of you.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
Probably something related to late night television.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Carrier pigeon with a bouquet of flowers (email with sources attached).
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Google Smart searches, all social media, EDGAR, etc.

My bible is screenshots of Tumblr that I save on Pinterest.

Why did you become a journalist?
I love telling stories and I need to know everything at all times. It's also one of the main jobs where truth is rewarded.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I worked my way up to Editor-in-Chief but somehow talked my way into a features editor my first semester. I led politics and investigations.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Tufts Pediatrics closure, I really felt like the community needed coverage there.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Ask questions. I still am!

Beginning of the week when I'm trying to get my life together.

Someone said they knew where the Titan submersible was based on vibes alone.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
The one that never got sent, it's always better to try and get rejected than to not try at all.
What's your favorite drink?
Taro boba tea with rainbow jelly, hot chocolate or Trader Joe's Orange Peach Mango juice
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
A phone playing Spotify pretending I'm in a movie.
