@NotBryantEng @CWellion He shot 42 percent from three, according to NBA/stats.
The Wizards made 88 three point shots in preseason, second only to the Rockets. Garrison Mathews, who went undrafted, made 10 of those shots. Washington lacks name-power, but they found young players who can contribute. I'll have more on Mathews on @BulletsForever soon.
I recognize that it's just preseason, but Tommy Sheppard has changed the entire makeup of the team in a single summer. The young players on the roster -- namely Rui, Wagner and Bryant -- play like vets, and more importantly, they've bought into the system. Things are looking up.
Wizards need a wing, desperately, and McKinnie fits the mold (defensively oriented). Lack of roster spots is a problem, though.
@OBtoojiveforyou and I had a long discussion about Beal's future in D.C. I had a hard time believing he would sign an extension. Well, he did. Now the team has a few more years to show Beal they're serious about building a winner. Here's our discussion:  https://www.bulletsforever.com/2019/10/15/20914423/washington-wizards-season-preview-bradley-beal-future
