Less than a year after FormFactor acquired a 50,000-square-foot industrial campus made up of four buildings in Farmers Branch, the semiconductor supplier is receiving a $24.2 million grant from Texas Gov. Greg Abbott and the Texas Semiconductor Innovation Fund to help complete the buildout of the site and expand manufacturing.

Brad Winges got his start in finance as a 19-year-old futures trader—the youngest in the U.S.—and a seat owner at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Now, with 38 years of experience in the industry, he’s spent the last eight years leading HilltopSecurities. The firm’s recent growth in its public finance business has been a defining moment this past year, he says.
