AAV vector production. AAV genome plasmids utilized in this study were engineered to contain a ubiquitous CASI promoter [26], the coding sequence for enhanced green fluorescent protein (eGFP; AAV6.2FF-eGFP) or Firefly luciferase (ffLuc; AAV6.2FF-ffLuc) followed by a woodchuck hepatitis virus posttranscriptional regulatory element (WPRE) and an SV40 polyadenylation signal.
