Inverted papilloma is benign tumour that arises from the sinonasal mucosa characterised by aggressive local invasion. The internet has become a source of health information for the majority of the population. Online health information is often not patient-friendly, with many sources lacking in both quality and comprehensibility. We investigated the readability and quality of online health information regarding inverted papilloma using readability scores and the DISCERN questionnaire.
