Benjamin Pineros’s Biography

Benjamin Piñeros was born in Bogotá, Colombia but lived his entire childhood in NYC.

He's a self-taught filmmaker and 3D artist who's worked on feature animated films and independent video-games. Winner of several local production grants, he's been developing for years an ambitious transmedia project that includes Servicios Públicos, a sci-fi, black & white film set in a dystopian, Latin American metropolis.

With an engaging, straightforward writing style, Benjamin has covered a wide range of topics for various news outlets around the world. His expertise ranges from current events and politics to comic books, cinema, and pop culture.
