I’m a freelance journalist based in Richmond, VA. I write mostly about mobility, immigration, and under-told histories. I’m also comfortable with a camera in my hand or a mic in my face. When I’m not doing journalism, I’m working on a book project at the University of Texas at Austin on the history of Latinos on the Forty Acres.

My work has appeared in The Guardian, Vox, Fast Company, Texas Monthly, Texas Observer, Next City, the Austin Chronicle, and more. I speak Spanish and English.
