Bloomberg (Bloomberg) -- Turkey’s central bank decided to resume weekly repo auctions at its 37% policy rate, a step toward normalizing funding conditions as it bets the worst of the Iran war’s economic fallout has passed. The monetary authority had suspended funding from its policy rate of 37% and switched to the higher, overnight lending rate of 40% at the beginning of March, carrying out a stealth rate hike in response to the uncertainty triggered by the war against neighboring Iran.

Syrian state media first attributed the Tuesday strikes on the Abu al-Duhur military air base to Israel, which the US said it’s since confirmed. There were no casualties, according to Syria’s state-run Ekhbariya TV.
