The fifth edition of the U.S. Adaptive Open begins on July 6 with a total of 96 players in the field. Ages range in age from 76-year-old Dennis Walters, winner of the inaugural 2022 U.S. Adaptive Open men's Seated Players category and a member of the World Golf Hall of Fame, to 15-year-old Tommy Morrissey, who was born without the lower part of his right arm and has more than 100,000 followers on Instagram.

Last year, Lottie Woad nearly won the whole tournament, finishing one shot out of a playoff and ultimately taking a share of third. England's Woad still left France with an LPGA card, securing her 20th point in the LEAP standings (LPGA Elite Amateur Pathway).

Kroger out as title sponsor of LPGA's Cincinnati stop Original

The Kroger Queen City Championship presented by P&G was on the LPGA's schedule for five years. The event was strongly attended, with roughly 50,000 fans, and held over three different courses, most recently at Maketewah Country Club, where Lottie Woad held off Haeran Ryu for the title.
