1 INTRODUCTION Long COVID is a multi-system condition in which individuals experience persistent symptoms 12 weeks following acute COVID-19 infection (Crook et al., 2021; National Institute for Health & Care Excellence, 2020). Fatigue is one of the most common and debilitating symptoms reported in long COVID (Joli et al., 2022), causing a significant impact on individuals, employers and healthcare systems (Townsend et al., 2020).
