Architecture, engineering firm unveils plan for Paristown Pointe office

A merged architecture and engineering firm will open a new office space this summer in one of Louisville's fast-growing neighborhoods. Indianapolis-based Schmidt Associates' Louisville office is relocating to the Paristown Pointe neighborhood. The company said last week that it will occupy nearly 5,000 square feet of space on the second floor of the building where The Café on Brent Street is located, just above Louisville Stoneware. That's a little larger than its current leased space at 620 S.

Rebuilt, rebranded hotel debuts near Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport

There has only been a minimal amount of new hotels opening in the Louisville area since the Covid-19 pandemic hit Kentucky in early 2020. But a newly rebranded and rebuilt hotel near the Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport recently made its debut. The 96-room Fairfield Inn & Suites Louisville Airport recently started welcoming guests at 653 Phillips Lane. The hotel has rebranded under the Fairfield Inn & Suites flag after previously operating as a Comfort Inn & Suites. It opened in April.
