Abstract The current study investigated a detailed account of phytocompounds within Coccinia grandis using GC-MS coupled with high-performance liquid chromatography. An in-silico approach was employed to gain insight into the inhibitory mechanism of Lupeol on Klebsiella pneumoniae. The molecular dynamics simulations were conducted over 100 ns to investigate the stability of metallo-β-lactamase with Lupeol, Imipenem (IPM), and Meropenem (MRP).

ABSTRACT River confluences are critical nodes where two or more rivers merge to form a single river. The resulting hydrodynamic zones are key to both engineering applications and understanding complex flow behaviour. The hydrodynamics at the river confluence are influenced by many factors such as discharge ratio, confluence angle, width ratio, bed roughness, density difference, and downstream Froude number.

ABSTRACT Discharge distribution between the subsections of a flooded river depends on the driving force, resisting force and momentum exchange at the intersection.
