What was your first job as a journalist?
I wrote on the protests in Pollachi against the cases of sexual assault and cyber-crime that came to light.

Yes.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Through an email or through my social media handles.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
MS Word.
What's your favorite social network?
Instagram.
Why did you become a journalist?
Because I love Tamil cinema. I felt compelled to write on its intricacies and overlaps with political and social issues.

No.

My interview with director Pa. Ranjith.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Journalism is speaking truth to power. Don't sell out on that.

Caravan
What's the most common misperception about your beat?
That "mass" cinema cannot be a platform for political change or social justice and that it is unintelligent filmmaking.
